Avid listeners of Canadian music will have likely stumbled upon the creative handiwork of Nova Scotia-based artist, Breagh MacKinnon. Her compelling songwriting and captivating vocals can be found on records by the likes of Donovan Woods, Ria Mae, and BANNERS. Years spent working behind the scenes have been punctuated by a successful stretch touring with pop-folk trio, Port Cities – a chapter that came to a close in 2019 when Breagh shifted her focus to develop as a producer and songwriter.

In early 2020 Breagh secured her first co-production alongside Ryan Stewart (Carly Rae Jepson, Owl City) with the release of “Missing Me” by Jocelyn Alice and Mathew V on 604 Records. All the while, Breagh has continued to garner cuts while emerging as a solo artist; “Good News”, the latest Billboard Top 40 chart-climbing single by Juno Award-winning rapper, Classified, was co-written by Breagh and marks the first official feature for her Breagh Isabel project. |
